Q: Power top does not retract

asked by on

The power top in my car does not retract.

Convertible tops are powered by motors that are controlled with relays and switches. I would bet one of these have failed and will need replacement. If you would like to have the electric circuits inspected for your car’s top, a certified mechanic from YourMechanic, can come test your vehicle to determine what repair is needed.
