Q: Power steering fluid leak

asked by on

I have power steering fluid leaking from the passenger's side rack bellow.

If fluid enters the bellow, the seal is shot. The only option is to replace the unit. You can buy a new one, or a remanufactured one. The truck will need a front end alignment after this is done. Call YourMechanic for an estimate if you desire. We can repair/replace the rack and pinion, but can not perform the alignment.
