Q: Possible left wheel axle replacement after a wreck.

asked by on

Left wheel axle may be broken from wreck....car is disabled

My car has 10450 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. Check the vehicle underneath and look at the CV shaft axle. If the CV shaft is broken in two or bent, then the CV shaft is damaged. When replacing the CV shaft, be sure to check out the wheel hub, frame, and the transmission and see if there is any damages. If there is any damages to the surrounding parts, then those parts need repaired as well to secure the driveability and safety of the vehicle. If you need further assistance with your CV shaft broken, then seek out a professional, such as one from Your Mechanic, to help you.
