Q: plug short frequently

asked by on

Accent with company fitted CNG. I drove 1.5 Lakh Km and know i am facing problem of frequently plug short. six month back coil and plug cord changed.

My car has 150000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Hi there. Sometimes this issue can be caused by the distributor cap or rotor being damaged; which is most likely why replacing the plug and plug wire didn’t resolve the issue. I would recommend having a local mechanic completing an engine is misfiring inspection at your location if possible.
