I had already described it and then signed up to receive a response. My 2007 toyota camry xle with 52000 miles had passenger side axle replaced on June 15, 2017 at toyota dealership. I was told that the inner boot was flinging grease but had not smelled or seen it. They replaced it with a rebuilt axle for approx. $425. In the last 10 days, I started noticing circles on the carport floor but wasn't sure if it was just some water or condensation dripping. Yesterday, I confirmed it is reddish oily fluid leaving about 2 inch to 4 inch diameter circles on floor. The circle yesterday was deep brown and more visible than prior circles. There have been no leaks previous to the repair job. I had asked the service advisor to make sure that the seal to the transmission did not need replacing. Mechanic found the seal to be intact and with no moisture. Prior to taking car in to find out what is wrong, what should I know as to possible problem and if dealership should cover cost of repair.
