Q: P0001code on scanner 2004 diesel

Had remap caris better than new my cheap scanner found p0001 fuel volume regulator circuit open it is running perfect with no light on dash it flys and ticks over like a wrist watch I found it while replacing mas air sensor should I ignore. It or find away to remove it thank you for your help and have a happy new year mick
