Q: Overheating

Iv done thermostat still overheats it's 3.5liter engine .consuming coolant none in oil but must be burning it was wondering if it could be intake gasket hopefully instead of head gasket if there known for intake gaskets the blocks and heads r same as impala 3.9 liter but also kinda looks like old 3800 s known for intake gaskets? I'll top it off and bleed air out runs good temp for short while then looses heat then starts overheating quickly after ..I know it's 1 or the 2 thoe
