Q: Overheated '98 Mazda

I have a '98 Mazda that overheated and the sparkplug wires melted to the block. What other kind of damage has been done?

If it got that hot, it may have destroyed the engine entirely. I would advise have a mechanic check it out and do some compression testing and tell you if it is worthwhile going any further or not - before you decide whether or not to sink a bunch of money into it.
