Q: oil pump swap

asked by on

I was wondering if a toyota mr2 rev 3 oil pump will fit and work on a rev 1 both non turbo thanks

My car has 108000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Hello. If the pump are from a 2.2 5S-FE or 2.0 3S-GE engine, then yes, they should be interchangeable as long as the correct oil pans are used. If the engines are Turbo, then the oil pumps are completely different.
