Oil change done before that and overfilled, not going back there. Is there an adjustment on that?
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi Diana. Thanks for contacting us today. Usually when the engine oil is overfilled, it will cause excessive oil pressure to build inside the engine. This is probably why the gauge is reading 80 now. In regards to how this is resolved, in most cases, having the oil and filter changed and the correct amount (and viscosity of oil) should resolve this problem. If you’d like to have one of our mobile mechanics come to your location to complete the oil change service, we’d be happy to help.
