Q: oil pressure guage fluctuates during driving, thermostate fets hot, 220 during in town driving.

My oil pressure goes up and down. Low at startup, higher when i start driving. Then Stabalizes around 45psi. My thermostate also fluctuates. I don't know of it is a problem with Corvettes, its an 07 ,base model, manuel trans. During in town driving it goes up to 220 and will warn to check coolent. It has coolent. Once on road without lots of shifting and stopping it returns to around 180. Are these normal for Vetts?
