Q: Oil comes from tailpipe

asked by on

oil comes from tailpipe over heats

Oil coming out of the tail pipe is not a good sign. The oil can be broken piston, piston rings or valve guide seals. In order to isolate the leak cause you will need to have an engine compression and pressure test. This test is needed to see where the oil is leaking into the cylinders. The oil level should be full and not over filled.
