Q: New battery dead and doesnt take charge

asked by on December 13, 2016

We installed a new battery this summer. The man who installed it said the connection between the battery and the cables was wearing and we should repair it soon-ish. Parked the truck for two months and it started immediately. Let it sit another month, and it was dead. Tried to charge and it showed full charge However, when tried to start, the dash lights flashed and the radio/cd tried to eject. Only lasted a few seconds and then died. Any suggestions?
