Q: Need new battery.

asked by on

Car won't start. I tried to jump it off, but it still won't start. I need a new battery.

Hi, there are many things besides a failed battery that will prevent a vehicle from starting. If the vehicle does not crank at all, the problem is likely the battery or starting circuit. A trained technician, such as one from YourMechanic, can easily test your charging/starting system with dedicated equipment. They can also replace the failed battery for you, making life easier.
