Q: My window fell in to my door and won't come back up. Is the window regulator needing to be replaced?

My window fell in to my door and won't come back up. Is the window regulator needing to be replaced? When I press the window down button it makes a noise and when I push the window up button it doesn't make any noise.

My car has 115000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
