My van's electrical system is completely dead. I suspect the mega fuse. I'd like advice about whether that may be the issue.

The van was driving normally, with a brand new battery that I put in a week ago. I parked at a store, and when I came back 30 minutes later, the vehicle was dead. Turning the key has no effect—no lights, no "click," nothing. It's as though the battery were simply disconnected.

I was told it was probably the mega fuse when I called a local shop. I'd like to change it myself. First, I want to know if that's likely to be the issue. If it is, I've got a Haynes for the van, but I'd like advice on finding the mega fuse and replacing it.

My car has 120000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
