Q: My transmission was working fine then it started not shifting out of 1st and i was told to remove valve body and clean.
I got this truck from a buddy and it was driving fine but then it started not shifting out of 1st no matter what i did. So i was told to remove the valve body and make sure none of the balls where sticking and to clean it cuz the transmission was sitting before it was put in the truck. So i did that and now the truck only goes into reverse but only when i put it in 1st, 2nd and drive on the column but not when i put it in reverse. Im not sure whats wrong and would appreciate the help.
