I was pulling in to my apartment complex, the drive home was fine, but I pulled in to park and heard a weird clicking sound and suddenly my steering wheel becomes exceptionally difficult, almost impossible to turn. I managed to park in the space, and I thought maybe one of my tires were flat or something was stuck. Popped the good, I have power steering fluid. Looked closely under the car and there was a long belt hanging to the ground. I don't think it was broken, but it definitely came off. I think that was the problem. Can I put it back on myself? Should it be replaced by a professional or just put back on by a pro? Is it pricy? What is the cause, and does it take long to fix? Because I have work at 4 tomorrow
My car has an automatic transmission.
