Q: My nissan murano 2006 takes a while to start. Dealer replaced the battery but still takes time. Runs good and has no light on.

asked by on December 28, 2017

The dealer replace the battery because it was almost dead the car will take a while when it was cold. After that it started turning on fine but now it takes a while every once in a while, it tries to turn on and sometimes it takes longer than usual. Dealer said that the crankshaft sensor was the culprit but that it wasn't urgent, but lately it's been doing it every time and it's querying quite annoying. Also, whenever I put fuel I have to press the nozzle 4 to 5 times because it stops. I don't know if these two issues are related somehow.

My car has 110000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
