Q: My iginition cuts the fire to the plugs when the temp hits 190 degess.

asked by on May 28, 2017

Had some engine work done and a new cap on the ignition. Now the engine shuts down at 190 degrees and will not start until the temp goes down to 130. No problem on cool days just aggravating on hot days.

My car has 99000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
