Q: My Ford Escape 2001 is having failure in bank two of the catalytic converter. I have no idea what mechanic I can trust?

asked by on November 27, 2017

I recently bought a car without realizing it was a lemon. It needs a lot of work, however the biggest thing is the check engine light and my brake fluid light. There is failure in bank 2 of my catalytic converter and I'm not sure what mechanic to trust without ripping me off based on my lack in car experience. Where should I go for a trustworthy and cost affective mechanic?

My car has 121000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
