Q: My emergency brake is stuck in the up right position on my 2007 gmc yukon Denali V8 6.2

asked by on March 24, 2018

If I try to step on the emergency break nothing happens I could bang on it with a hammer it won't move. (No I didn't bang it with a hammer) it's stuck in the up right position. I have been told 3 different things by different people. First I need to change brake shoes , next I need a hold new break pedal, and last it just needs some lube.

Not sure if this means anything but I also need to repair my back breaks

My car has 145870 miles.
