Q: Windshield wiper arm

asked by on

My driver side windshield wiper keeps going out to far, it goes off the windshield and I lose the blade. The arm isn't working, do I have to replace the whole motor or just the arm?

My car has 120000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi There, It sounds the windshield wiper arm is bad and needs to be replaced. In order to do this, you do not need to replace the entire motor. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to replace the arm on your windshield wiper system.
