asked by on

My cruise control doesnt turn on

My car has 129 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Newer cars like your 2011 Nissan Sentra use a fully electronic setup to maintain speed and may be able to maintain speed and distance behind the car in front of you. These systems are controlled through the vehicle’s computer or ECU (electronic control unit). Common reasons why your cruise control might fail include blown electrical fuses, a damaged speed sensor or even a brake control switch that is damaged. In order to correctly diagnose this issue, you should have a professional mechanic complete a cruise control is not working inspection.
