Q: My car wont start cranks but wont fire

asked by on

So i changed fuel pump and filter and changed crank shaft sensor it has spark and battery is fine but it wont start and used some starting fluid no fire still could it be compression

My car has 170000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

I would not assume that your Stratus is having an engine compression issue. It’s probably an ignition system component failure; such as a distributor, coil or the cam position sensor. I would recommend having one of our mobile mechanics complete a car is hard to start inspection.
