Q: My car won't start.

asked by on January 18, 2017

I have replaced my starter, alternator, egr valve, crankshaft position sensor, oxygen sensor, fuel pressure regulator, ignition switch, and I'm sure something else that I can't remember at the moment and turning the key will not allow my car to start. There is however a wire that is running from underneath the hood (starter fuse) to inside the car that once any other fuse is touched it will start. Please help I'm not driving the car because it seems very dangerous being rigged up like that.

My car has 169000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
