My car Won't stater it say transmission malfunction

My car has 14000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. There are many reasons why your car won’t start, ranging from ignition system and fuel system components failure, to electrical relays that are faulty. It is very rare that a transmission issue will cause an engine to not start. In rare occasions, when a serious transmission failure is discovered by the ECU on your BMW, it will trigger an error code which disables the ignition system. The only way to determine this for certain is to have a professional mobile mechanic come to your location and complete a car is hard to start inspection.
