asked by on August 15, 2017

I just changed the plugs and plug wires in my car. When I went to pick it up it ran fine but after it sit all night and I went the next morning to start it. It would start and ran for a few seconds and then shut off. I try it 3 or 4 times and it kept doing this. Later that evening when I got home from work i try it again and it would start up and run and i drove it down the road and i brought it back. Well the next day i went to start it up and it done the same thing again it would run and then shut off and when it did run for a couple seconds it would blow black smoke out the tailpipes. We have clean the Mass Airflow Senor and it still does the same thing. My dad took out the fuse for the fuel pump in the fuse box under the hood and it ran fine and we try it couple of times but I haven't mess with it anymore.

My car has 175000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
