Q: My car stopped when I was driving. The engine kept running and when I placed my foot on the gas with the car in drive it didn’t go

asked by on February 23, 2018

My car came to a stop while I was driving with no warning or sound. When I put my foot on the gas the engine reved up but didn’t go anywhere like it was in park. This went on for a few mins and then it finally responded to the gas and starting driving and I was able to get home. No noise, no check engine light. Can you give me an idea what this might be? I have my car serviced every 5k miles faithfully

My car has 130000 miles.
