Q: my car is overheating, after replacing the thermostat. Is it the head gasket or water pump?

asked by on June 11, 2017

It overheats to max within 5 miles of driving. I replaced the thermostat, and it didn't help. It's still overheating and the coolant bubbles from the resevior. When I turn the heat on, it blows cold air. The fans don't come on right away, even though it's running hot. Could it be the head gasket or water pump?
My car has an automatic transmission.
