Q: my car has theissue that it often lose power steering suddenly while turning.nothing leaks but there's clunky noice when turning

asked by on April 08, 2017

My car often lose power steering when turning. There's no leakage, no grinding noice, the car is fairly new, no wears physically. However, there's clunky noice when turning the steering wheel sometimes. It could be possible related to the event that the car hit a curb at 25 mph on a snowy day. But the car is checked by multiple mechanics saying that no damage or bent whatsoever physically in suspension and steering rack. But dealer said the noice came from the steering rack.

My car has 14000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
