Q: My car cut out really quick then tachometer stayed at zero.
I was driving around twenty mph steadily then suddenly my engine cut out (turned off) for a second or even less but as soon as that happened my tachometer (rpms) stayed at zero exactly. For it to start working again I have to shut my car off for a minute then back on. What is causing this? Last week my check engine light was coming on for my crankshaft sensor. I got that changed and this current problem I have was really bad at the time but now it's better but still happening. What is it? No light are on, on my dash. Please help...
