Q: My cam sensor threw a code replaced it and now it won't start. Batter and starter are fine. My dash has an epc light on sometimes

asked by on September 03, 2017

I replaced the cam sensor and the car drove fine. The next few days it would turn off and have an epc light come on. I had to put it in park turn off and restart to drive. It finally went all the way with no starting able to happen. Tried jumping it and didn't do anything. Just makes a weird clicking noise that I have never heard doesn't sound like a battery being dea click. Code on my OBD says the same when I ran it again still the cam sensor and I replaced it twice to make sure the first one was not faulty! Any help or advice would be much appreciated

My car has 96000 miles.
