Q: My altima will not start.

asked by on February 15, 2017

My car is a push start. The steering wheel was locked in place but I removed the steering lock escl and was able to move the wheel straight. I thought if I pushed down on the lock it would want to start but it didn't. The battery is fine and the fuse's to the steering lock look fine. I'm just not sure what the problem is the breaks are a little stiff. I have to apply more pressure to push down. Do you know how I can get my car to start?

My car has 127000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
