Q: My 2009 Kia Sedona will get stuck in park and will stop at reverse when I am trying to get it back into park, what is wrong?
My gear shift will get stuck in park, with enough pressing of the gear shift, I can eventually get it down to drive. Now, when I go to put it in park, it will get stuck in reverse, and sometimes, take me a day to get it back in to park. I did show it to a mechanic and he did something to the gear lock, but that did not solve my problem. It used to happen sparingly, now it is each time. It is getting old with lots of miles and not sure how much to invest for repair. I do not drive it because somedays, I just can't get it out or back in park. Thank you
