Q: my 04 vw beetle makes a whirring noise in 1st gear and while revving in park. Could it be the secondary air pump?
my 04 vw beetle makes a whirring noise in 1st gear and while revving in park. Could it be the secondary air pump? It has been doing that noise since I got it in 2006. I am just curious what that is. It is only from first gear. on all of the other gears it does not do it. Also when it is in park and I rev the engine all the way to redline like for "Italian tuneup" It makes another high pitch noise at 6000 rpm. What could those noises be?
