Q: My 01 ford explorer xlt 4wd serv. light is on & reads codes p0174, p0442, & p0171 and has rough start. Help please!
My 01 ford exp. Xlt 4wd recently failed inspection for codes p0171, p0174 & p0442. It also has a rough start in the cold early mornings. The check engine light is illuminatedand a visible white smoke is present coming from the front leftside of the hood. I believe theres a leak of something somewhere but alot of mechanics have told me those codes could mean alot of things within the truck's emission system. Please help!
