Q: Motor stopped running after 15 minutes.

asked by on

The motor ran for about 15 minutes and then stopped.

Hello, since the motor stopped, are you able to get the engine to crank over using the starter or does it now just go click? If the engine cranks but doesn’t sound quite right, it could have a broken timing belt or a failure in the ignition system. If the engine sounds normal cranking there is a possibility that the fuel pump has failed. You will probably need to enlist the aid of a mechanic the inspect the cause of engine not running.
