Q: Modified van with manual handicapped ramp

asked by on

I have a modified van for a handicapped person. The side door where the ramp comes out does not open with the magnet. It needs to be opened manually. Then the ramp comes out using the magnet.

I’m sorry, but wheelchair lifts are a specialized trade. It is not something your average mechanic can speak of intelligently. The best option is to find a place that installs them. They will know what is best.
