Q: Minor rust
Following severe snow storms over the last few weeks minor paint chips and minor rust spots have appeared on the hood and fender of the vehicle. I cannot fix the chips for a few weeks and more rain is called for.
Will using a clear sealant cause provide a protective coating for a few weeks to delay additional damage being exposed to moisture and the elements? Or will using the clear coating layer accelerate or expand the possible area of damage?
