My AC compressor is bad. Car is making a whirring sound. He took the clutch off so it wouldn't rub metal on metal and possibly spark. Says it should be all replaced, bc even with clutch off its making a sound and he says the bearing is likely bad as well. How long can I drive this with this sound? Dont want to do further damage but will need to replace it at some point....
