Q: Locking mechanism not working properly.

asked by on

My lock and unlock button keeps clicking when I'm driving 10 MPH or less.

The drivers door lock actuator may be the cause of the problem. Inside the lock actuator has two rubber stops when it goes from lock to unlock and sometimes the rubber falls off and the actuator will not stop cycling. The only fix is to replace the actuator with a new one.
