Q: Locator feature

asked by on March 30, 2017

Purchased my car from Carmax and the locator feature does not work. Remote locks and unlocks doors but does not "chirp" and emergency button does not ring. Horn works directly. Has it been shut off? Keep forgetting to ask my regular mechanic about this but it's a pain when I need to locate car in a parking lot???

My car has 49500 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
