Q: Lifters

asked by on

Can you change just the lifters when everything else is stock.

My car has 60000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there, thanks for writing in. Most engines can have the lifters replaced without replacing the cam or rockers. You may want to have a local expert inspect the car and advise you on this repair.
