Q: Left front wheel shaking when stopping.

asked by on

Car is okay when driving, but the left front wheel shakes when coming to a stop. I am uncertain if it is the pads or rotors, though I recently changed the pads.

It sounds like you may have a warped rotor. If it only shakes when coming to a stop. I would have the rotors removed and taken to the part store and most part stores like O’Reilly’s can turn them on a lathe. A technician from YourMechanic can do this for you, but it would be best to just replace them. It will cost about the same price.
