Just purchased this lincoln and needing to replace thermostat housing gasket due to leak. Well after taking off the TH and added the gasket in the process my husband cracked the lower hose. We decided to purchase new lower hose, thermostat, thermostat housing and an oring. After screwing in TH and connect hoses we added new coolant. We started car and coolant was found leaking from the manufactured hole in the neck of the new TH. We then realized that we did not bleed the air out. So we did the process of bleeding the air through the bleed valve located near the coolant reservoir and noticed the air coming out of the bleed valve but the manufactured hole on the TH still continues to leak after closing bleed valve and car idles. Eventually leaving no coolant within minutes. What step should I try next?
