Q: just got a transmission replaced in my 95 dodge avenger, left the garage with it today and it wont shift out of first

My car turns on, It runs fine until about 20-30mph when it should shift gears if im correct, but the car wont shift gears and it just keeps in first as i continue to slowly gain speed. Just had a new transmission put into it
