Q: Its telling me to check my parking assist

asked by on

parking assist lights comes on when i put it in reverse

My car has 119673 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The park assist requires the use of sensors in the bumpers. Go around and check each sensor and wipe them clean of any dirt and look for any damages. If there is any damage to one or more sensors then they will need to be replaced. If no damage is found and cleaning does not change anything then the system will need to be scanned to find the problem in one or more sensors and replace as needed.
