asked by on

I use 6litres of fuel in 11klm, I want to know the quantity of fuel am suppose to use.

My car has 25864 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. Your vehicle should average about 25 miles per gallon, which equates to about 10 km per liter of fuel. If it is using as much fuel as you say then you more than likely have a bad sensor or a failure in the fuel system. A bad oxygen sensor, a leaking fuel injector, or a bad fuel pressure regulator will cause this to occur. These need to be fully tested and inspected to repair this.
