Q: Is my car totaled?

asked by on

I hit a wall and ran a curb. Oil is spilling about 11 inches wide from underneath the front of my car. How bad is it?

My car has 120000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi, thanks for writing in. I recommend having the vehicle checked for the damage done. The engine oil pan may have been damaged and can be repaired by replacing the pan. The body damage is the expensive part of the repair and can exceed the value of the car. Have a body repair shop quote the repairs.
